I was glad when my friend Steph posted in her blog that she is inspired by the phrases on the lululemon bags. Because I am too! And the phrase she quoted is my all time favorite – Do Something Once a Day That Scares You. Although, to be honest, in practice, I replace the word “day” with “week”.
So, what scary thing did I do this week? I didn’t quit my job during a recession as Steph did (I already did that, remember? Twice). I bought a bikini.
No, I’m not actually going to wear it. It’s inspiration. My goal is to look decently presentable in that size small bikini. Can I do it? My husband, when he heard about this goal, suggested that I might try for something, more, you know, attainable. Thanks honey.
Maybe someday I’ll be brave enough to take a photo wearing it. Ha!
Shred update – I’m on level three now, pretty regularly. I’m having some problems with my knees so I have to do low impact versions of two of the exercises. But I am wondering what I’ll do once these thirty days are up. I think I’ll probably still do it about 3-4 times a week.
