As I have been mentioning, I am “training” for the Expedition Everest 5K in September at Walt Disney World. Well, earlier this week, my mother decided to walk the MS 6 Mile walk and invited me to join in her team.
Multiple Sclerosis is an important cause for my family to support. My aunt Judy, my mother’s sister, was diagnosed with this devastating disease over thirty years ago, when she was in her thirties, and already had four children. For almost as far back as I remember, she’s been confined to a wheelchair, and at this point in her life is often unable to even change the TV channels with a remote control or feed herself.
Today, many of those diagnosed with MS still face a life with no cure. While there have been medical advances, research still needs to be funded to prevent and cure this debilitating disease.
Please consider sponsoring me for this walk. Even the smallest bit will help. Visit my page HERE to learn more and donate.

I worked for the National MS Society before I had kids, and I still support friends who walk and do the bike tour. It is a great cause & I hope your walk goes well & you raise a ton!
