Now THIS is an honor! When people I know and respect hold me in high esteem, that means a lot to me. And I love your list.

To Jill's point, part of the reason to make noise about such a list is that Nielsen is well-known and respected when it comes to ratings. I cringe at the thought that PR people who are not tapped into the momosphere will take the Power 50 Moms list at face value and restrict most or all of their outreach to that group rather than digging deeper into the community.

Companies should connect with bloggers who offer the right fit, not just the ones who get big hits.

Truth is, I'm not sure why we're constantly making lists and powerpoint presentations to point out best of x and best of y. I think successful bloggers know who they are and I'm not sure why a list, which as far as I know does nothing other than pat a few backs, is what we rely on for data.

SO MANY great blogs I read were omitted, to the point that I wonder what kind of street-cred we should attribute to it.

JMO. Welcome back (FINALLY!!!)...
