Do you remember last year, when I was going through the application for the 2010 Walt Disney World Moms Panel? No, of course you don’t (unless you’re a personal friend of mine, or a relative), because I didn’t talk about it AT ALL on this here blog. Why? Because I thought there was NO WAY in the world I would make it.
But, I DID make it, and what a year it has been! The other WDW Moms Panelists (including dad Doug) have become some of my closest friends, and not a day goes by that I don’t talk (at least online) to one of them. I’ve loved helping others plan their vacations, and being a part of the Disney family has been the highlight of my year.
The application process is opening for 2010 soon (more details about the search for the 2010 WDW Moms Panel here). Take a chance, speak from your heart, and go for it. You know I’ll be cheering for you!

I was so bummed to know you have to have actually have been there in the last twelve months to apply. I would have been the perfect first-timer for the job!

I am definitely going to go for it. Having grown up at Disney World, gone on my honeymoon and celebrated my son’s 2nd birthday there it only seems right to try.
Is the application available somewhere before the opening date for submissions?
No, I don’t think the application is available any where before the opening date.
Last year, the first round was 3, 100 word essays.
