I have seriously neglected this blog lately, because I’ve been so busy! There have been an enormous amount of blogger events over the past few weeks – so much so that I’ve even had to miss a few. I am, of course, first and foremost a mom, so I’ve been sticking to local events.
First up was the iParty event, held at the iParty Training Facility in W. Roxbury, MA. I wrote about some of my learnings at the iParty event on Mom’s Favorite Stuff. My kids were invited to the event, which always makes things very convenient, and they had fun seeing all of the costumes and decorating cupcakes. At one point during the event, I took my son to the potty, and when I came back, they’d handed out cupcakes for decorating. I was so proud of my daughter, who told Jill that she’s allergic to walnuts and wasn’t sure she could eat the cupcakes.
The next event was something that made my husband actually glad that I blog – a Verizon FiOS blogger event at Gillette Stadium for the Patriot’s opening day! I was able to bring a guest, so my husband and I got a babysitter for the kids and headed out to Gillette Stadium for a FiOS demo (on a side note – I have been having an ongoing battle with Comcast, so this demo was welcomed. And, we actually switched to FiOS!). I’ll be writing about that event on Mom’s Favorite Stuff soon, when I get copy of the edited video.
Finally, my kids and I attended a Stonyfield event at the Boston Children’s Museum. It was run by 360 Public Relations, which is just a top-notch firm that runs fabulous events! The kids had a blast in the child care, and then we had a chance to visit the museum. More on that event later (on Mom’s Favorite Stuff).
In a few short days, I’m off to Walt Disney World for the Expedition Everest 5K. Wish me luck!
