If you know my family at all, you know that my sister lives pretty far from us. In fact, we only get to see her and her family once or twice per year, which may seem surprising, since we work together on Mom’s Favorite Stuff.
Well, due to some unfortunate circumstances in the area where she lives, my sister and her wonderful children, are staying with my parents for a few weeks until they will be joined by my brother-in-law. Even though my parents are about an hour away from us, we had the chance to celebrate Easter together, and have had playdates and outings once or twice a week.
My kids are over the moon since they’ve had the chance to spend more time with their aunt, as well as their cousins (who are similar ages to them). My husband and I have loved getting to know our nephews better. And, it’s always great to spend more time with my sister.
It’s just a reminder that there’s nothing like family!
