I don’t really like when Christmas Day falls on a weekend (yes, I’m Christian, but thank you very much for all of the Hanukkah greetings). Not only does the holiday sneak up on you, a weekend Christmas Day means less vacation time for my husband and children. As of right now, I’m completely done and ready for the holidays. No more baking. No more wrapping. No more buying.
This year, I’m grateful for another wonderful year. We lost my husband’s grandmother in March, but she was suffering quite a bit and was very ready. We welcomed two new nieces. I started a new blog – Family Travel Magazine, and saw Mom’s Favorite Stuff and Family Friendly Boston grow. My son started kindergarten. We got a new puppy, and she’s already a huge part of our family. And, I have a new running goal.
